She's off to Ireland again!

So I've been shuttled back and forth to grandma's for a week so my human could spend some time celebrating St. Patrick's month (as I call it). First she was off to the NYC parade to march with her Alma Mater, Fordham University. If you didn't know the University before, surely you know it now as the great Irish band U2 played there a few weeks ago. Then it was back to NYC to Connolly's, home to Larry Kirwan and Black 47 but this past Friday night, Connollys hosted the fabulous Barleyjuice with some UK Irish Rockers, BibleCodeSundays - this is one rockin band and they do a mean cover of the Jackson 5 (yes, the Jackson 5). The lead singer is Ronan MacManus and if that surname sounds familiar, he is brother's with a gentleman who changed his name to Elvis Costello.
The band should be back in the states in May and hopefully making an appearance at Ireland and Old Lace soon.
Now I'll be off from work for a week as Kelly jet sets across Ireland, from the East to the West and back again. She will be there visiting 15 manufacturers of hand crafted Irish goods, meeting with the Crafts Council of Ireland and I'm sure, throwing back a few pints while she is there. The shop will be closed on Monday 3/30 and Tuesday, 3/31 for a few renovations, otherwise it will be open while Herself is away.
Peace & Good Craic!
