My human is back from Ireland and can you believe who she was hanging out with?  One of my cousin's in Galway City!  She claimed it was a business trip but looks like pleasure to me...........ok so she went to the trade show in Dublin looking for new Irish Crafts for the shop but then she toured the west coast of Ireland and I think it was in search of the perfect pint (she already has the perfect Jack).

From Dublin it was all the way west to Galway.  Then on to Connemara to see the Marble, Ponies, Kylemore Abbey and the setting of the movie "The Field"; that was all in one day.  Then ferry across the bay to Inis Mor - there are only about 600 people that live on this Island (the largest of the 3 Aran Islands) but there is over 600 miles of stone walls.  Then a trip was made up to Dun Aonghasa - the ancient stone fort....and a spell with a lovely local crafts woman named Sighle Cotter - check out her site www.liaarann.com
The next day it was on to Clare - the Burren, Poulnabrone Dolmen, Ailwee Caves and the Cliffs of Moher............back east to Dublin for the Trad Music Fest sponsored by Bushmills and then fly across the Atlantic back to me.  I really missed her even though my other human was home taking care of me - but he doesn't rub my paws and sing to me like she does.
 I'm telling you, I think  it was really all about the perfect pint - every pint in Ireland seems better than the next, but one from the Brazen Head in Dublin (oldest pub in Ireland) seems to be the most perfect of all....and the perfect Jack, well he's in Smithville, NJ USA....of course!
